GLOBAL YOUNG RESEARCH ACADEMY

Our school has introduced a scientific research methodology program with the mission of supporting budding scientists. In collaboration with the Global Young Research Academy (GYRA), a global platform dedicated to nurturing research aptitude among middle school students of grades 6 to 9, we aim to foster the development of the next generation of committed researchers.

Our students secured Best Poster Presentation Award along with cash prize 3000/-in IRCC (International Research Conference for Children 2024) conducted at Ashis Convention Centre, Kalamassery for the topic “Escalating suicide rate among adolescents.

Under the expert guidance of the GYRA team, St. Antony's Public School students have been building on their research endeavors from the previous year. This experience fosters a genuine spirit of scientific inquiry and critical thinking, preparing them for advanced studies and future research opportunities on global platforms.

In the 2024-2025 academic year, ten students from grades 7 to 9 participated in the International Research Conference in Mumbai, presenting their work in two teams: one in Poster Presentation and the other in Paper Presentation. The poster presentation explored the impact of integrating plant and pet care on students' well-being through a comparative study, while the paper presentation examined the effect of physical exercise on students' academic performance through another comparative study. The students' remarkable talents were showcased and highly appreciated by global researchers.

As we continue our research in 2025-2026, we eagerly anticipate the next International Conference, scheduled to take place in California.
